South Fremantle Beach House

The owners of this fantastic pad wanted a modern home right on the doorstep of South Fremantle's café strip.
They dreamed of a light-filled living space connected to the outdoors with large expanses of glass.

Rather than demolish their 50 year old home, they gave it a total makeover - changing the look of the home with windows as one of the main features of the renovation.

The clever use of remotely-operable awning highlight windows allows the sea breeze to cool the house with a minimum of effort. While in the colder months the windows are easilyclosedand the room enjoys additional light and warmth from the winter sun.
